Empire

So last night Empire came on. I know you know this because its all everyone can talk about and watch. I heard somewhere that its ratings has beaten scandal's ratings. I know I haven't watched scandal in a while, so I can kinda see that.

What I want to talk about is, the aspect of Homosexuality that was present last night. I like that Jamal decided to come out. I also loved that he did it because of his daughter(who we don't even know is his). I also love the way he chose to come out (to the world and his father). I loved that he used his father's song to come out.  I have to point out that I love that song. The song I am talking is "You're so Beautiful." I am listening to it on spotify as we speak. I love that he changed the lyrics from "man love woman" to "man love a man".  Everybody noticed but didn't care. I love how supportive his family was about him coming out that way (expect for his father of course).  everybody but his dad knew anyway. I wish every family was  that supportive about a man coming out. Usually it is the dad who has a problem with their son being gay.
