if it's boring to you it's boring to your reader

today I have been having a hard time figuring out what to write for this post. I want to write on this blog everyday and there is  no better time to start than the present.

I was going to write about how  I was single on valentine's day and how it's not that big of a deal, then I changed my mind. then I thought that maybe I would rant about how I hate sonnets. Both of those things I didn't feel like writing and didn't find interesting. 

I read somewhere that if you don't want to read something you're writing, then why should anyone else read it? If it's boring to you it would be boring to your reader.  I believe that is true, so I don't write anything I wouldn't want to read.  

This is for all my writers out there. Don't write anything you wouldn't want to read yourself. You will save yourself lots of trouble and possibly time
