I haven't been writing lately. Partly because I'm lazy and partly because of inspiration. I would be thinking 'I need to wait for inspiration to come'. It never came though. I was doing this for this blog but also for my daily writing. I then stumbled across this quote: "waiting for inspiration is like waiting for a plane at a train station." That's basically saying that if you're waiting for inspiration to come- it won't.
So now I don't wait for inspiration to come. I just write and keep writing. I saw a quote on Pinterest that said "The most important thing in writing is to have written. I can always fix a bad page. I cannot fix a blank one."
While inspiration is cool and can produce some good stuff, don't wait on it- just write and keep writing. It's okay if it's bad when it comes out. you can fix it later.
